Modifieds: Brian Swartzlander Mat Williamson Dave Murdick Rex King Sr. Rex King Jr.

Rex King Sr. lead the first few laps until Swartzlander passed him to the outside of turn 4. Swartzlander led the rest of the way, fending off Williamson on several restarts.

Late Models: Russ King Alex Ferree John Mollick Jared Miley Mike Pegher Jr.

Russ King won from the outside pole, King and Garrett Krummertt exchanged sliders early on, but Krummertt faded and spun while running 4th. Pegher looked like he might battle King for the lead, but Ferree and Pegher made contact just before Krummertt spun, and the right rear of Pegher's car was pushed in. Pegher faded to 5th, but Ferree battled King for the last 5 laps after a restart, just couldnt get under King, who rode the top groove to victory.

Sprints: Carl Bowser Eric Williams Gary Rankin Daryl Stimeling Scott Priester Brandon Matus.

Carl Bowser absoultely dominated the non-stop race, Williams made a charge to 2nd, Rankin also drove up to 3rd in the Matus 33. Priester and Matus made contact coming to the line for 5th, both spun down the front stretch after the finish.

Sportsman; Corey McPherson AJ Flick Mike Miller Paul Schrekengost Rob Shook

 Gee....#1CGeisler fan must have gotten tired and had hit the sack before he could give a rundown of the Sportsman class. It was the second best race of the night behind the Late Models. Would have been nice
to give the run down of the race along with the other classes.

I hope you're just busting balls. #1C, along with the other couple of thousand people in attendance, has no obligation to give a rundown of any of the races. It was nice of him to write what he did, allowing those not in attendance an early glimpse of the results. Read BigE's release, which is always timely posted (not to mention HEAD AND SHOULDERS above any of the other "writers" in the area in regards to quality) if you want a full rundown.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

I don't get it.....people pay the price of admission to see racing, then leave before more often than not the most competitive and hard fought racing of the night. I would rather see a good stock car race any night of the week than watch sprint cars run around single file, starting to lap cars after 3 laps and watching normally a front running car lap 2/3 of the field. Not to mention having dirt and rocks slung all over me and my food all the while hoping there is not a lengthy caution to stop the racing action for who knows how long because these fine cars don't even have a starter! I just don't get it.......

They do host a great Stock division, and while I agree that their race is often the most competitive of the evening, why bust on the Sprints? Bowser started up front and turned a non-stop affair into a laugher. Get over it. It happens. And as far as I can tell, the Supers and Big Blocks do a pretty fair job of stirring up dust. In fact, the Supers sling more debris into the stands than the Sprints do. Dust on you and your food? You should ask for your money back at a DIRT TRACK! On one hand, you bitch that people don't stay around to watch the Stocks, on the other you lament having to sit there longer for any delays that may arise from an incident where the Sprints might have to be push started. Yeah, it's a tough Saturday morning for me knowing that I wasted two minutes of my life waiting for the Sprints to get pushed off after a red flag incident at a race track that moves the show along flawlessly with no intermission bullshit.

Agreed! Run them last, then the crew has a whole week to fix up the track for the other divisions to run on a better track. Hate it when the sprints run first. Surprised Lernerville Mgmt has not thought about doing that..............more people would stick around and concessions would not have to sell BUY ONE GET ONE food at the end of the night. It would be a money maker for them with no added expense!

George, I am an idiot because I have an opinion? Well, if that is the case, you are the BIGGEST IDIOT on Racestud because you sure have expressed plenty of YOUR OPINIONS for quite a period of time. Of course, everyone knows, unless your opinion is agreed with, everyone else is in the wrong.

GO SUCK AN EGG YOU OLD GOAT!

I agree lernerville sprints are pretty boring now, would def. rather watch the stocks, ever since rod George, Kevin Shaffer,ed lynch, and Brian Ellenberger haven't been racing there on a regular basis just to name a few, its just not to interesting and with cowboy and jack sodeman hurt I just feel the racing went way down hill, that's just my opinion....

The Lernerville sprint car contingent sure aint what it used to be. also... krummert always has a fast car, but seems like he always spins or jumps the cushion any time the pressures on. i guess that anxiousness will be solved once he has some more laps under his belt

Hasn't he been racing for about 10 years?

If you want it to be better go help the lone guy who takes care of it for damn near minimum wage after he puts in 40 hours at his every day job. That goes for everyone. If you want it to be better go hop in a tractor or a truck, it won't take much convincing on your part for them to toss the keys to you.

People would have a freaking fit if the sprints ran last every week.....

Yeah, because that isn't what the fans want. A couple people on a message board are in the minority. I also think the surface has been at least decent every time I have been there this year. Guess people just like bashing what is easily the best track in the area.

How would the track be better? From what I have seen this year, their surface has been better than most. Didn't really think it was an issue.

Overall the track has been better than the last few years, but not by much. The Sprints have nothing to do with the dust kicking up out of turn two during hot laps. I don't want to hear shit about, "you think you can do better, jump on a tractor". That's beyond retarded. The place is corporately owned, and they need to jack their track budget up. They sure as hell can afford it. They don't need some chuckle head on a message board suggesting that people donate their time if they want a better surface. I don't sweep up Giant Eagle's parking lot when I'm finished grocery shopping.
