Rumor has it that motordrome was locked down on Thursday night tighter than Alcatraz until NAPA had to bail out Mr. Wonderful Stan lasky so the show could go on. So who will it be this week or will motordrome be silent on Friday night with all the racers sitting idle because someone didn't pay the bills. I sure do hope someone or several people decide to take over this track before it gets buried any deeper and cannot be rejuvenated. It would be a shame to have to drive to Erie when there is nothing wrong with this place BESIDES MANAGEMENT. Is there anyone out there who can shed a little light on this subject and keep the fans and the racers in the loop about if the show will go on?

Sold out would lead some to believe that fans are buying all the tickets this year. It's a ticket giveaway free for all each week via Facebook and twitter posts. But I guess it's their way of getting folks there in to buy snacks and maybe come back some day.

Rumor has it that Tony Stewart is buying it and converting it back to dirt so he can hold a Camping World Series truck race there next year. Seating will have to be increased when this annoucnement hits the internet but in the meantime, good well wishes to Smoke.

You did it to your self with your relentless stupidity in relentlessly telling tracks to run divisions that no one other than you care about

word is that four late model drivers have a deal worked out to buy the track.Stan wont be there next year,so if its true the new owners are probaly the ones responable for the free tickets this year thru some of there sponsers in order to build a fan base for next year. It has to be driving stan nuts to see the place packed every friday, when he only did it one or two times over the past few years. Its only a rumor but all i can say is good luck to possible new owners, and goodby stan, dont let the door hit you on the way out.

I heard the #83 late model was at the track practicing on Thursday night. That would be kinda hard to do if the place was padlocked. Would be curious to hear what four late model teams are trying to buy track.

From what i was told Wiltrouts car owner is the main one,if he can come to a deal with the mileys to pay off what stanley owes them.

Tony Stewart is in the process of purchasing the track from the Mileys but the deal has been delayed due to his recent injury. Stay tuned for further updates.

Hopefully Billy Hribar will be offered and accept some kind of position. He's abt the only guy that really considers suggestions and input. The fans are increasing-I don't care how they get there-the only seat they don't make money on is the empty one. However tech needs a complete overhaul along with the rules- I predict the car count will not change or will decrease if they don't make sweeping changes. If guys feel like they have no chance they will reconsider their investment. I hear the leading charger is up for sale for $8500.00. A charger car? Talk abt a class that's got way out of hand. Four cylinders-you better have serious engine work-a class already ruined by expense from what was a decent entry level class.ten years ago we out 300.00 in a motor and ran third most if the year-try that now. Whether anyone likes it or not- it is not good racing to have the same one or two cars run away with it week after week. If they are tech'd hard like Erie and its proven that driver/car is just a notch above so be it. If you know rules are violated by that team and could point out the obvious to the track and they just ignore it-that's something totally different. Doesn't do much for morale.

heard from VERY credible source that track is close to being sold. however i heard it is NOT anyone associated with the track currently. Someone that has built and managed tracks has submitted an offer and an announcement is coming soon. definitely NOT Tony Stewart.
