There's not room or a reason for 2 crate touring series in the north east. Not enough crate cars have funding to race multiple times a week

Even the ULMS shows there didn't draw many cars. The track is hard on tires and hard on engines and equipment when it gets rough. I don't blame the guys for avoiding it.

Only 9 crates at Marion Center this weekend too which is down from around 14.

Fastrak deal this weekend at the other two tracks.
Also the Carnahan crate was sold so it wasn't there but will be back at some point with a new driver that's moving up from the street stock wannabe late model division.

Many guys are running both series!! Dennis Lunger was 4th with FASTRAK at Raceway 7 on Friday and won the Sharon RUSH race Saturday. Colton Flinner won the Jook George Memorial at Pittsburgh last Saturday, a RUSH race, and then the FASTRAK race at Mercer this week. Those are just two good examples. Walt

Don't take it the wrong way I love racing Sharon Speedway...great facilities and they acknowledge you the racer for supporting their race track...its just tough to go there and eat a hard tire off every night...wish the would take the hump out of the middle of the track also.

sharon got 9 cars racing against 4 other tracks running their own weekly races. you got a better car count than sportsmans speedway they only got 4 cars running against no other tracks. what does that tell you about the rush series.

i think one problem with rush is the saturday thing running both pms and sharon being only about an hour apart from each other. only time it seems to work is when one or the other rains out and the cars can head to the other track. just an opinion not trying to start anything!
