Looks like gates open at 2:00!

Thanks for the interest and we are looking forward to a great day of high-speed asphalt racing.

More details are available on CNB's website.

I heard 15 LM with Gault taking the win. 4 each 4 cyl and SS. Definite improvement in car count and I know of more being built for the Sept event. Stands and hill looked pretty good.

Lates- Glenn Gault Jr
Street stocks- Lauren Butler
4Cyl- Mike Lucas

It was a pretty good show. Late model feature was good, food prices were fair, food was good. I enjoyed it more than a lot of the dirt shows Ive been to over the last few years. Hope it works out for them, Ill go back. Hopefully they have more Sunday shows. They said in October they are having a show for dirt cars only.

Anyone know if Lauren Butler is the first girl to win a race at that track?

I actually enjoyed the racing today and there was passing in the late models between the 11, 32 and 23.. ;) It was like going back in time seeing the 32 of Glen Gault Jr in victory lane..

Mash the loud pedal.

Enjoyed the show. LM were pretty darn fast. Would love to see a race with a gaggle of 4cyls out there. I heard that the 81 car that won was hitting 81 mph at end of straights.

LM's are at 106+ mph average around CNB during qualifying. They race at around 102. Every class of car is awesome around there actually...

These guys really are trying to get a good car count and a bigger crowd i don't know what else they can do i was there and there was a small crowd but i guess it was bigger than the last race so they are going in the right direction . here is a free suggestion ... i noticed two water trucks a grader and a big tractor off of turn two there is plenty of room in the infield to build a really nice 1/3 mile bullring dirt track and like they say if you build it they will come . ;) :P

The crowd was better on Sunday than it was for the last race, and it was great to see some familiar faces from the dirt tracks in attendance! I thought the late model race was pretty good, they are definitly fast, and the 100 laps adds strategy into the mix. I've really had a good time at all the asphalt shows the past two years, and I hope more teams and fans come out to support the track! It's great to see Hummel, Mallora, Timblin and Dillon back out there on the track, and I hope there will be more local support in the future! Finally, I don't know how many of the asphalt teams check this board, but I'd like to say Thank You to all the teams that have made the long haul to Clearfield for these shows! It's tough right now, because there aren't many asphalt teams in this area anymore, and these shows wouldn't have been possible without the support of these late model teams.

Hopefully they took note of this and realize that Friday night and Sunday afternoon are their only options for success in this area. Contrary to previous beliefs, dirt guys will come.

They are not going to pull Motordrome regulars away from the track on a Friday night. It may work for the next race in Sept since Motordrome will be done for the year. Also, you probably will be hard pressed to pull out of town guys like Colt James on a Sunday afternoon when they have to be at work Monday morning. I personally think a Saturday night after Motordrome runs a big show is your best bet for a good late model field.

Rumor has it that there will be regular weekly racing next season with crate late models as the main class. Can anyone comment on this?

We will be running a regular schedule next year but not exactly every week. We are working on a new class for next season that will bring the excitement of late model racing without the high cost and technology. More about both will be released soon.
