First of all it was a good race and I am very thankful for what Stan Lester has done for a great series. Also, Brad and what he has done and his loyalty to fastrak. But it is also a discrace that Someone did not go to the rear in the incident with Max Blair and Andrew Satterlee. Joe Martin got screwed out of a front row restart because of a "Racing Incident". I wish someone could define "Racing Incident" for me because every wreck could be that in my description. Stan and Brad you both know better. How can there be a caution with no one going to the tail..... Im not saying it was not hard racing and Max may have hit Satterlee spinning him. Im not saying that Max should have went to the tail or Andrew should have. It was hard racing. Someone has to be accountable for a caution. I hope some one can clear this up for me.....

there should have been no hesitation, both to tail.........max always seems to have great control of his car, till somebody passes him. then he hits mud, another car, always something.......dan, joe, and robertson got hosed, period. i've never in all my years racing saw the bs i witnessed last night....... if they did it again would they get three chances? biggest horse chit call i've ever seen.....

That incident may never have happened if the caution wasn't thrown on lap 15 so a guy could change a flat.

Two weeks ago the track DQ'd Rich Logan for running into Andrew Satterlee under caution. I can't speak for any inconsistent officiating from either of the Crate series', because I don't follow them. But, it seems there would be more credibility with these traveling circuses (ALL of them) if penalties were discussed between the sanctioning body and regular track officials before any decision would be made.

Not the first time the Blairs have been let go on complete horse shit moves in a crate. Those first couple seasons when Fastrak got big up here, it was something everyweek at Mercer and Tri City. Witnessed about 5-6 myself where one or both of the Blairs just flat crashed someone who passed them or who they couldn't pass. Not sure why everyone is so surprised it has gotten to this, the ground work had already been laid for them to do whatever the hell they want. Damn shame as well, because both of them are obviously fast enough to get it done without those tactics.

it was a 'racing incident', maybe we should have been put up front....wth. our flat tire caused it......that's a new excuse....

There is something to that, Booter. I wasn't at the race in question at Marion Center, so I have no idea what happened.

What I do know is that cautions begat cautions. If you are a track or sanction that allows "courtesy cautions" and "two lap rules" for flat tires, you are asking for exactly these kinds of situations.

I am a firm believer that if you are part of a single car caution, whether it be for a flat tire, spin and sit, mechanical issue, or whatever, the next flag you get to see is black.

Say what you want about whatever excuse you have (dogtooth gears, someone else spun me, something in the track cut my tire, etc.), but I have seen this rule work effectively at other places. One particular place had a rule that said if you were involved in a caution in a heat, you were done for the heat. You should have seen the cars miraculously keep rolling afterwards so that they wouldn't be credited for the caution and disqualified.

This ties into the bigger picture........what keeps casual and new fans from returning to a dirt track?

1. Dust
2. Long, bullshit, drawn-out shows - and unneccesary cautions definitely draw out a program.

How many times have you been watching a great 3 or 4 car battle for the lead and some back of the pack asshole gets a flat and stops on the track, or the last place car spins by himself and waits for the caution with the engine idling?

Folks, see that big green thing to your left? That's the infield. When you get a flat or your car quits running, get into the infield.

first off, there was big freaken tires in the corner. and we went high off the straight away to get out of the way, with cars buzzing by. never did we stop. to blame the ending on us, sounds like an excuse
