No different than if getting " ye ole yoke smoked " is your big thing .... You can get Sunhoney for free , you can this dude I Went to highschool with 4 dollars or you can pay tegan Presley $5000.00 ..... Just like strictly stock .... Cadet ..... Crate ...... Superlate .... Touring superlate .... There's various levels of involvement based on what you comfortable spending ..... You don't buy tegan Presley then complain 5k is too muh to spend on a weekly basis .... If your broke you stick to sunhoney or that dude I went to highschool with

The whole topic was to inform everyone that the pit fee is increased this week , so no one was surprised at the gate, cuz it isn't anything special this week.unlike every other week where its double or triple points.LOL. and its not the outlaws or Lucas series or the max Blair show.so ppl who are on a tight budget, crewmen and casual enthusiasts can prepare accordingly. No one wants to get the cheap hooker then still get charged premium escort fees. Its normally 25. To get in. Its now 30.

none of these things (except owning a boat maybe) even come close to what owning and maintaing a race car is.... car/body/engine/tires/fuel/weekly pit passes/gas to and from track....let me know when going to a ballgame or camping for the weekend will cost you thousands of bucks....

I have thousands and thousands into my travel trailer. I get 0 payout every weekend I use it. In fact, all I realize is depreciation on it. Who do I cry to? Granted, when I go backpacking, I only have hundreds total into that equipment.

Boats, hunting trips, fishing trips all can cost thousands in a weekend. What's the payout? Ever get married? What did that cost you? You can't freely choose a lifestyle or hobby, then expect everyone to have sympathy for you over the cost of what you freely choose.

By the way, I actually have owned, maintained and driven my own race car (and no.......it was not a late model, sprint or modified). Have you? I used to race three nights a week on my own dime, and I never spent 1000s in a weekend to race, as you suggest above. When I figured I no longer wanted the expense and effort to race three nights a week, I cut it back to two. When I figured I no longer wanted the expense and effort to race at all, I sold my shit and became a bleacher creature. If I ever decide that I want to assume the expense and effort to race again, it will be in a class and at a track that I can afford comfortably.

What the hell is so hard about this? Crying on the internet over 5 bucks........good lord.

I ain't nuthuggin', but TheLegend could not be more correct on this particular topic.

I got a extra $100 in my pay last week and the special wasn't for us it was for the ceates no bitching from me it said on face book there are goin to raise the purse this week that's why there is a increase . all of us that race waste money so quite your crying over $5 damn!!!!!

i my opinion i think they are trying to see if by adding 5$ to the pit entry fee if they can increase the payout for next season which is not a bad thing but on the other hand there are some other issues that need to be taken care of like (lighting, and restrooms)

Every year the last race they charge more to get in. Its to pay the point fund. Which is 300. For the latemodel winner. Lighting has always been an issue.those portable lights lighting up the infield don't do shit on the track. Point them up onto turn one and three then they'd have something. And add two porta potty and they wouldn't have near as many complaints.

I agree with BaconBits. 30$ to get into the pits isn't that big of a deal, not uncommon.

Ding, ding, ding.....we have a winner. Do the same people bitch when they get "0" payout for their other hobbies? How much does it pay to go fishing? Boating? Camping? Hunting? Backpacking? Drinking beer all weekend? Going to a concent? Going to a movie? Having a family reunion? Getting married? Good lord.

Do people pay to come watch you go fishing? Boating? Camping? Hunting? Backpacking? Drinking beer all weekend? Going to a concert? Going to a movie? Having a family reunion? Getting married? Wait...you consider getting married a hobby? Good lord.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

If they could just get sunhoney working " the booth " behind the concession stand they would think 30 is a bargin !!
