Gregg was fastest in Hot Laps He was also the fastest in Group B qualifying He also won the 3rd heat A good start for the first nite of two and hopefully this will give him another good start in the feature. Gregg seems to do well on the bigger tracks IMHO. It would be pretty awsome to bring home another WoO win. A top 5 would be good to I guess. Go Gregg !!!

Way to go Truth!! We all knew it was just a matter of time. Once you win that first one, the others come a little easier and more frequently. Keep up the good work!

I'm just glad that Gregg and his dad Gary decided to go this route with their racing program. Your only as good as your competition they say.

Gary and Gregg are part of a growing business that enabled them the resources to leave the kind of tracks that Gregg grew up on.

Gee, I can only imagine the comments if they would have chosen to stay with the Dog Hollow's and Marion Center's etc. with the funding they now have.

They do not have the win/loss kind of record that they would have running weekly tracks, but it sure must be rewarding to have 2 World of Outlaw wins this year.

Good Luck tonite at the "Grove" and Monday at the "Knob" for the 20 Grand....

Gregg timed 5th fastest in Group "A" Time Trials. Gregg finished 3rd in his heat causing him to miss the pill draw by one position for tonites $10,000 to win "A" Main.

Your only as good as your competition?! I am not quite sure what that comment means, but I take it as an insult to our local racers.
And he has always had the resources that he has now. This family has always had the resources ( money, tracks to practice on or test etc...) He was just a local racer until they hooked up with Robby Allon and together they have a good combination. Robby Allon knows how to play the GAME, and Gregg can win it for him. I applaude any local racer who moves on and can compete at that level. but dont knock where you came from, thats how you got where you are. He was just one of those "Competitors" until Robby Allon.

On th contrary, I really like him. Obviously you didnt read my post.
You implied the local guys are a bunch of low income, no talent types. That is how I took the post I commented on.

I'm sorry that you took my post out of context. No where did I imply that the local racers are a bunch of low income, no talent types.

I will stand by my statement that you are only as good as the people you race with. Do you know how much you can learn by racing with the likes of Darrell Lanigan, Jimmy Owens, Shane Clanton, Josh Richards and the list goes on and on.

Just " FOLLOWING " these guys while racing with them enables a person to gain a lot. Just ask anyone who has raced with these guys. These travelingl pros have a lot to offer.

Gregg probably would be one of the first to tell you that.

This is the kind of experience that you can not gain by racing with your local racers who for what ever reason, be it finances, work comitments can not do the type of racing Gregg does now.

I am not taking away anything from your local racers. They just can not comit themselves to this type of racing.

This is where my statement saying " you are only as good as the people you race with " comes from.

It is so much easier racing with these guys. It is so much easier to maintain your car etc. This is fact. So much easier racing with these guys on the track, this is fact. Ask anyone who has been there.

How do you think these travelers keep up these tough schedules?

As far a Robby Allen goes.. when Robby came on board, that just completed the package. All of the big league dlrt teams have their top notch crew chiefs.

The 22 team was able to score probably one of the best in the business.

A lot of the stuff I write is fact, some speculation and some just my honest opinion. If anyone agrees, dis-agrees or whatever, I would welcome your input.

Gregg has not alway been a local racer. Go to his website http://greggsattelee.com.

Click on tour and go to results. Starting from 2009 it gives results up to the present. I do believe MCS was his home track.

Even before Robby Allen came on board, Gregg done a fair amount of traveling as a Regional driver.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Robby Allen started wilth the 22 team in the latter part of 2011.

As you can see, I am a Gregg Satterlee, Gary Satterlee, Robby Allen fan. So until something should change my mind ,,,,,,,, It's HAMMER DOWN GUYS !!!

Moron, I was speaking of Ring Gears original post.
As for Ring Gears last post, are you Greggs Mother?LOL.
I get it the WOO and Lucas guys have alot to offer for a driver coming from local racing, and as I stated when Robbie came aboard everything came into place. I respect your opinion just as you should respect mine and not condem me for defending local racers. You may not have intended to insult anyone by your post but you did. My comments aren't ment to be anti-Gregg (as stated I like him), just pro local racers.
