We're they on the 1325/1350's they normally run ?That track surface sucked! It ate everyones rr tire up and then when it was worn down to the cords, those rocks in the track ripped a hole in them.

I'd imagine they had the track packed tight expecting the rain that was everywhere last night. You're gonna get an abrasive surface when you do that. It happens when you get questionable weather like that. Would you have rather they left the track open and catch a shower and cancel?
That track had 2 nights of cars on it and they never even touched it for monday. it reminded me of ppms.

It was an open tire rule. Looks like pretty much everyone went too soft.

You clearly haven't been to PPMS in a few years.

Like I said, they probably left it packed tight so that it wouldn't take on moisture in the event of rain. What is so difficult to understand? If they had opened it and worked it, it probably wouldn't have been able to take on any moisture in the event of rain. And there was rain EVERYWHERE yesterday. I am shocked they even got it in and they should probably be commended for that. They did what they had to do to get it in.That track had 2 nights of cars on it and they never even touched it for monday. it reminded me of ppms.

PPMS is one of the easiest tracks in the country to pass on. Montgomery passed 18 cars in 8 laps Saturday night. You obviously haven't been there in several years so your opinion expired.

I have already explained this to you in depth. He was passing cars like they were stopped and instantly put 10 cars on them. When your car is THAT fast yes it's very easy to pass, if you are only slightly faster than the car in front of you it's difficult .PPMS is one of the easiest tracks in the country to pass on. I have already explained this to you in depth. People keep saying you can't pass at PPMS, but of the 60 tracks I've been to PPMS is in the top 10 in passing. And that is typically when cars pass other cars, when they're faster. You can make that statement about any racetrack in the country. There are plenty of tracks in the country where the fastest car can't win because the track is terrible. PPMS isn't one of those anymore. The Pittsburgher will be the best NDRL race of the year. PPMS on it's worst day is still better than the Knob was last night. They should have worked on the track before the feature.
