I was talking to a friend about what races were left this year to attend and it got me searching. As I searched I compiled these. If I missed any please add them. Figure it will help fan and racer alike. Make sure you check the tracks website for details and to double check my information. Updated 9-9-2013: Added: Winchester, Roaring Knob, Atomic, Bedford, Selinsgrove and Legendary Hilltop Updated 9-12-2013: Added: Hummingbird, Portsmouth

if you guys want to check out a track with some pretty good racing me and my son went to okio valley speedway last night. it took us a little over 2 hours from southhills. the racing was great. full fields in all division. they ran 3 consys. it was a regular night and they had 33 superlates. you had guys like steve lucas, kc burdett, chris garnes, fast freddy carpenter, andy bond. it was side by side racing to the finish. it was my kids idea and i am glad i went. they also had the 410 sprints on the card. just offering another option. they run through september. it is down by parkersburg west virginia. it is old school racing.nothing fancy. the track was super smooth with little dust. i really am glad i went and we are going back again. only thing the latemodel guys are crazy.lol kc burdett got into it with tyler carpenter. and tyler got pissed off and drove up over burdrtts hood. they call him the kamakazi kid but the kid hauls ass. just trying to give you guys another option for some good racing. hope this helps. greg simmons

same here.lol we are always looking for new tracks to go to for the pittsburgh circle track club and my son found it. you should check it out. also the racing is better there than at skyline. the bleachers at skyline are scary, lol but both tracks are within an hour of each other. take a weekend and check them out. good latemodel racing!

lrnvlfan1w. i also found out there are 2 hilltop speedways. 1 in millersburg ohio and 1 in marietta ohio. they both have their own websites. the one is Millersburg is Hilltop Speedway, and the one in Marietta is right off route 7 and their site is Legendary Hilltop Speedway.

Shows both on the map: Hilltop to Legendary Hilltop

Hope that helps

Greg

Atomic Speedway in Chilicothe has several races scheduled for the end of the month. It's a bit of a drive, but one of my personal favorite tracks. The sprints plain haul the mail there and it's small enough that it doesn't usually get stretched out. They also run late models, although I have never seen them there.

The Winchester 200 for Super Late Models in Winchester, VA., will be on Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21. Was down there this weekend for the first time in many years, place looks great and the racing was excellent.

Atomic Speedway

Watched sprints, lates, emods, and stocks there and was never dissapointed. Except at the DTWC.

Roaring Knob in Markleysburg, PA still has plenty of races left. Susquehanna Speedway Park also has a $10,000 to win 410 sprint show the weekend following the World Finals in Charlotte. That should about put a wrap on the season.

thanks I updated the list.

I'm pretty sure the pittsburgher , the Knoxville nationals , the DTWC and the world finals are the relevant events left ...

Pittsburgher's been on the list since it originated.

Forgot about Portsmouth thanks for the reminder.

Trying to keep the list just to PA, OH, WV that is why the World Finals and other race outside this area are not on the list.

Appreciate the help.
