The 2013 World of Outlaws STP Commonwealth Clash will not be rescheduled
Tickets can be “paid forward” or refunded

Sarver, PA (September 23, 2013) After much deliberation and careful consideration, World Racing Group, World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series and Lernerville Speedway officials have decided not to reschedule the recently rained out Commonwealth Clash. Advance ticket purchases can be “paid forward” at full face value towards next month’s DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede or any 2014 event at Lernerville Speedway including the 8th Annual Firecracker 100 or Silver Cup Twin 30s.

For those that prefer a refund as opposed to future ticket purchases, please send your tickets back to the speedway office at 313 N.Pike Road Sarver, PA 16055 for a full refund.

For those whose tickets were still in “Will Call” please call the speedway office during normal business at (724) 353-1511 to make arrangements.

The 5th Annual DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede is scheduled for Thursday-Friday-Saturday, October 24-25-26 and features 10 divisions of racing across the three nights. Thursday’s schedule consists of rotating hot laps for all divisons, Friday’s scheduled consists of heat races for all divisions and Saturday’s schedule consists of B-Mains (where necessary) and A-Mains for all divisions as well as an Enduro 100.

The DIRTcar Sprints, DIRTcar/ULMS Late Models and DIRTcar Northeast/BRP Modifieds (Kodiak Graham Memorial) will be racing for $3,000-to-win purses; the RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series will cap their season with a $2,000-to-win event; the Sportsman/Stocks and UMP/UEMS Modifieds will be racing for $1,000-to-win; and 305 Sprints, 4-Cylinders and Mod Lites will be racing for $500-to-win.

could never figure out why these events especially outlaw events aren't rescheduled. This Friday for instance. nothing scheduled. track not running . weather looks great. outlaws in Fremont Saturday. win win for fans. the track. the series. so much for being fan friendly. After much deliberation and careful consideration YEA RIGHT. I forgot we are talking about the great WORLD RACING GROUP. Tight points race also. Nothing beats looking out for your drivers.

Lernerville won't run against HS football on Friday nights and it's financial suicide to try and run on a Sunday against the NFL. Hardcore fans will come, but your casual fan is gonna stay home and watch the game for free instead of spending 40 bucks on an Outlaw show. And all of the Saturdays are booked for the Outlaws or Lernerville through the World Finals.

Not sure what high school football takes away from a Sprint car race. Especially Outlaws. I do believe Outlaw Sprint car would be jammed pack on a Friday night. How many times a year do the Outlaws come around here anymore ?? Oh well is what it is. World Finals not to far away.

You do know that people have kids and siblings that play football right? Fans, racers, track employees all have friends involved in football. It's no coincidence that they stop racing on Friday nights once football starts. Attica and several other tracks do the same.

Yeah dude I get your point. High School Football rules the sporting events around here. Somehow I believe there would be a full grandstand of race fans for an Outlaw event. end of discussion. Would go to Fremont Saturday. But was there earlier in year for All Star Sprint show. Wasn't to impressed with the place.

No surprise to me that the show won't be rescheduled. As I said on another thread by moving it to September they basically guaranteed that rescheduling would be difficult to impossible. That's why I wondered how much they really want to have this show. Oh well, at least we can use our tickets towards an upcoming event, even next year's Commonwealth Clash I guess. If they have one..........
