Not much racing last weekend, but there were a couple of changes. SPRINT CARS: With the WoO at Lernerville not being rescheduled Jack Sodeman, Jr. has clinched the Sprint Car honors. He has a 14 point lead over Danny Holtgraver and the two remaining races only offer 12 points. LATE MODELS: Mike Knight failed to gain any points at McKean County and lost his chance to cut down the gap on Robbie Blair. Blair doesn't have it clinched, but the Fat Lady is warming up!! MODIFIEDS: The Sharon rainout may have helped Dave Murdick as now there are only two races remaining. However, he needs to get some points this week to have better than his 9 point edge over Rex King, Jr. going into the Stampede. LTD LATE MODELS: Max Blair gained another 9 points at McKean County with another win Sunday and now leads by 95 points. This was over weeks ago!! LTD MODIFIDES: Still wide open. Rich Michael, Jr. gained 6 points on Steve Dixon with a pair of double point wins at Mercer over the weekend to Dixon's 2nd in one of the McKean County races. Michael has a 9 point lead. However, in talking with him last weekend there apparently were two wins at Bradford that didn't get counted due to results from that track not being sent out every week. Add those two races back in June and Michael would have a 15 point lead. There are still three triple point races left at Pittsburgh and Lernerviile, so this one is far from over. I am trying to contact the Bradford track for the missing results!! LTD SPRINT CARS: Michael Bauer won Sunday at Mercer and clinched the title in this class with a 14 point lead and just one Lernerville race left. Second is wide open with only 6 points between Jimmy Morris, Joe McEwen, Mike Miller and C. J. Jones. The Lernerville race is worth 6 points to win. STOCK CARS: Chris Withers won at McKean County Friday night and then finished second in one of the Mercer races to increase his point lead to 16 over Andy Michael. Michael reportedly crashed hard at McKean County and may be done for the year. If so, this one is over with Withers winning for the second straight year. Chris Schneider can't win, but could move from fourth to second with a Lernerville win in October!

You are correct!! Dixon did win at McKane County Friday night. My error!! But the error was just on here as my record books show his win and he got the correct points. Just had brain fade when posting this to the message board. Easy to do at age 74!!! Walt

Walt

When I see the updated Cavalcade Points, I get such a big boner that there is no blood left for my brain. Maybe that's what happened to you.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
