TTT I'm betting Scruffy was that kid in school that the teacher picked to snitch on the other kids when they left the classroom.

TTT
I'm betting Scruffy was that kid in school that the teacher picked to snitch on the other kids when they left the classroom.

And the rest of you were the kids that, even though there were perfectly good lockers, left your coats on the floor where people were trying to walk. The lockers were designed to hang coats, and that's where most people put their coats. But you thought you were better than the others and didn't have to use the lockers. You didn't care that you weren't courteous to the rest of the class who were stuck with your coats in the aisle. You said that if they didn't like it, they could step over them. But if you had put the coats where they belonged in the first place, nobody would have to step over them, or even mention that the coats were in the wrong place.

Now you're all growns up and you put your classified ads in the wrong place, where people have to step over them to read the message board. Maybe your parents should've opted for that 3rd try at second grade after all.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

Courteous? If you placed your classified ad in the proper place, you'd never have to read about it being in the wrong place. If this ad was on the classified board, where classified ads go, your inconsideration for the members of Racestud would not be a point of discussion.

I believe the add was posted as a message and not a classified so its ok. I really wish i had your worries, cause my life would be easy. You sir truly need to find an activity. Maybe ocean sailboating, space travel, mountain climbing. Leave the policing to the moderator. Your badge has expired. By the way Todd thanks you for the bump.

  • Interests:RACING, not nascar though. But I live & breathe stock car racing. Not so much Sprints, or emods. Even though I own a 2bbl emod, I'm still not thrilled with returning to dirt, after a 15 year absence. We'll see how things go this year coming up, 2012. Maybe it'll grow on me, again.

Not that I give a care about this whole issue, in reffrence to his ad, if I were looking for a car, & saw this ad I would never respond to it for 2 reasons. No, 1 no price. In my experience in over 40 years of buying, & selling race cars, I find that the reason for not putting a price out there is you're embarassed because you're asking too much, & hope to romance someone into meeting your figure. And 2nd, most race cars have a history, & buyers like to know that history, how old, who was the builder, & the biggee - how many wins. Yours only goes back to when you owned it. Sorry, but not much history there. JMHO.

pat, i think the point scruffy is trying to make is that if you do it and you sell your car then everybody selling something will think it is ok then the message board will be littered with nothing but ads instead of going to the correct board for selling. i hope you guys sell the car and good luck next year! again just an opinion not trying to start anything. just trying to look at both sides.lol

The only reason there was no price is that there was no set price, number 2 the car ran as a sportsman at lernerville, and I ran it mostly at roaring knob. I don't know if the car won at lernerville. I never won with it, a couple of top 5's, but no wins. I hope I have answered your questions. 4,000 the way it sits.

Half the stuff on here winds up not being about racing, turns into attacks on wives, mothers, kids, girlfriends. A driver gets in a wreck on the track all of a sudden he is a dirty driver and by the end of the post his wife or GF is a whore???????? What does all that have to do with racing. Plus if you dont want to read it dont dont look at it. I would rather see something that pertains to racing than all that childish crap....JMO
