Shaffer's tires went away as he did not have on the right compound by his own admission.

I thought maybe his tires went away. I know he was bad fast until they did go. Great run by all.

T3 wrecked smeal on purpose

Bet they both knew there was a strong possibility of that happening before the race started. T3 was pretty impressive to that point though. Only car that passed anyone all night long. Came from damn near last. Smeal should have passed a car and maybe he wouldn't have caught him. Haha. Oh well. Hopefully they can put it behind them now and race clean next year. Doubt it though. Most can't seem to do that these days.

Payback is a B****.. ;)

agreed...I for one am glad to see someone pay him back for all the smeal side slams he does. about time someone stood up and enough! shame the T3 wasn't up front with the 28...I think he was the only one that had a shot at him. would have been interesting to see who was the better car.

the 53 late model raced a hell of a race though. was patient and kept the 47 on his toes. even though he " didn't have the right compound" it wasn't for the lack of the 53 forcing him to race hard every lap. I think its more of a congrats to him for a great race ran forcing the 47 to wear his tires out. he didn't have time to save tire.

pure stocks was as expected. beichner won. when are they gonna make these guys put 10 inch tires on, by the rules, there isn't to much separating them from the SS class. atleast call them SUPER stocks there and not Pure...because these guys aren't even close to a pure stock. triple d clutch, 4 bbrl, headers....shit, why not let them have a 406 under the car???

fwd was interesting, and actually a pretty good race between the 151 and the 1. what happened to the 8c? he was blowin the field away till he pulled in. plus, an added not to that, who let him race with those tires on...they were essentially pure stock tires, atleast that's what it looked like from the stands hahah come on tech...get your shit together!

all in all.....good night for the Chilli, was a lot of draggin ass in cleaning the track up at times, other than that my only complaint id say would be the first 50 laps of the late models where they ran a total of what...14 green flag laps?? (because they counted caution laps the first 50)...that was embarrassing. im excited to see what the new track will produce racing wise because my hope, is that it will allow for a racier surface than the one lane they have now. Good luck and congrats to all the winners last night!

I personally thought it was a boneheaded move on Colton's part. He was faster than Smeal and probably would have passed him easily. I know I wasn't the only one who was wanting to see him and the 28 racing for the win.

there was no one there that would touch the 28 he would have been a top six or seven in the late model race

I don't think he would have beaten him either. The 28 was just flat out faster than everybody.

I just wanted to say a big thanks to the 64 SS for lending me parts just so I could get my car loaded last night, and to the 37 of Joe Kot for staying late after everyone had left to give me a hand loading it up. For someone who doesn't have a crew it was great of them to help me get loaded up. Without the parts or the lending the help I might still be there. Nice to know that some ppl in the racing community are willing to help out those that they compete against! I know a lot of ppl don't see what goes on in the pits and only know how ppl are on the track so I just wanted to let everyone know that there are some good ppl out there
