I understand the Ericksen family is dealing with a lot more important things than the track. Just curious how Mr. Ericksen is doing.

2014 News Bulletin from The Hesston Speedway Dirt Doctor I David Eriksen have put blood, sweat and tears into Hesston Speedway over the last 4 years with over $250,000 of upgrades. Again, I have tears racing down my cheeks again knowing my health treatments will not allow me to operate the speedway for 2014. NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC at this time The Hesston Dirt Doctor is willing to work with any person or group to see that racing continues at Hesston Speedway for 2014. Notice At this time the track is for lease or for sale, for the 2014 season You may contact Dave Eriksen at 814 658 3639 In July I was forced to break the news with tears running down my cheeks, “Due to my ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer, the remainder of the 2013 racing season has been cancelled. 2012 was a building year for Hesston Speedway with lots of great racing, The Dirt Doctor did 6 months of chemo & 5 weeks of radiation during the 2012 race season, and was told more chemo treatments would be necessary during the 2013 race season. Based around treatment schedule for 2013 the Hesston Scheduled was set for 8 race mega events
