Why don't you girls go to the mall, buy a pair of gloves and a hat and quit whining.

Amen!

I hope they make the call about Friday by tomorrow afternoon. Looking at the forecast Saturday and Sunday seem warmer, so for those of us coming in from out of town I hope they don't decide to race Sat/Sun due to temps.

Agreed!

I think this is pretty much what the weather forecast looks like for all of the winter racing at East Bay, Volusia, Bubba's or Golden Isles. And teams and fans continue to make the long trip South so they can enjoy the racing. The same can be said about Syracuse in October.

Spring weather tends to be even more unpredictable. An event like this can't be scheduled while points racing is going on.

Every time I have gone to the Steel City Stampede it was well worth the travel. But that is just me! JMHO! Don't like it -- don't go! It doesn't get much simpler than that!

What this board really needs is a "Whine Cellar" section. Then a lot of this silliness can be funneled into there. Then folks can have there own place to complain about the color of the hot dog wrappers! LOL!

Seriously, it seems like some people have no real purpose in their lives. That is a sad state of affairs!

I agree, I dont hear a lot of people conplaining who bought tickets to a football game in the middle of dec/jan when it is in the teens at night. I bet 90% of the complainers arent even going :P

Yea 294 cars in the spring last years stampede make up was 4/14/13.....I'D SAY A LOT OF GUYS ARE READY COME APRIL

Remember though... Lernerville rained out and kept all the money. Some heats got in and They simply said that the passes were good until next April. Then they threw all their earnings (our money) in the bank and collected interest on it for 6 months. The drivers didn't really have a choice but show up. They could've called to get the money back but its easier to just steal a pacifier from a baby. I know the crew I help out would be hesitant to attend such a big race at the beginning of the year. More money on the line, first time back in the car for many drivers, etc. Just creates mayhem on the track
