This is my favorite race of the year. Should be some great racing. Who's your pick to win?

If they run, the highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's and 30's that are forecast definitely mean that it'll be colder than a polar bear's nose up there all weekend, which in turn means that the front gate intake will suck like an industrial strength shop-vac. Don't know if they'll cancel, though, because the precip forecasts keep changing every time I see them.

On a side note, why is cold weather hard on motors? If properly warmed, you'd think a few percent extra HP would be no problem for a purpose built race unit. I can see borderline junk blowing up but not good stuff.

The weather forecasts I see don't look like they'll have to cancel for rain. It's all a matter of whether or not they want to put up with the cold. That's up to them and their bottom line.
