Exactly.As for the fine details of who can and can't run, the spirit of the rules are to keep Brett Hearn (example only, no, Brett didn't tell me he wants to run) from blowing up the class.
I think most real racers welcome at least a little bit of talent to chase. Helps us get better.

I was thinking more along the lines of preventing winning modified teams from turning a backup car into a sportsman mod and racing both. Without that rule it might be tempting to, instead of selling and upgrading over the winter, get a new car, hang onto your old piece, and convert it to fit the sportsman rules.As for the fine details of who can and can't run, the spirit of the rules are to keep Brett Hearn (example only, no, Brett didn't tell me he wants to run) from blowing up the class.
