I no Chris and am good friends with his dad ..so if you guys think he's a fictional character you are mistaken. If you guys are not putting a dime into 1 of these cars what is it to you were this class is going? I bet the rush tour pays this class a lot better than m.r.p. pays the 358 guys. Your purse is a joke. Guys are foolish for tearing there stuff up for what they are running for. And since you wanna throw stones mike I would be willing to bet that if another local track ran 410 sprints on Saturday nights you wouldn't have 10 or 12 cars.

As for the fine details of who can and can't run, the spirit of the rules are to keep Brett Hearn (example only, no, Brett didn't tell me he wants to run) from blowing up the class. I think most real racers welcome at least a little bit of talent to chase. Helps us get better.

I was thinking more along the lines of preventing winning modified teams from turning a backup car into a sportsman mod and racing both. Without that rule it might be tempting to, instead of selling and upgrading over the winter, get a new car, hang onto your old piece, and convert it to fit the sportsman rules.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

I can see that as well from a mechanical standpoint.

Today I got this message from Gene Habbyshaw: Mike there is no Chris Habbyshaw on the face of the earth. I have no idea who he is. Have told Rick time or two to get him off here or quit using my last name Some People Gene Seems to be a discrepancy in your identity. Hot Dog. [/quote] chris is a real person mike. i went to high school with him. he was quieter back then. lol kudos to vicki and mike on the new series. no one ever agrees with all the rules for a division but, it's definetly a step in the right direction.

And there you have it. Nice detective work, Sherlock.
