Hats off to PPMS for finally having a Multi day big show that made sense. Racers want to race, The camping and parties are nice but spending 3 days at a race track to run hot laps Thursday heats on Friday and features Saturday in pits that are over crowded is foolish..
Pittsburgh had full shows on both Friday and Saturday. Thank you.
Lernerville please look at how they did it. 9 divisions could be split into 2 complete shows. Sprint BRP 4 cil and stock cars on Friday. Then LM crates e mods and shopping carts on Saturday.
If you loose a day to weather there is less problems and there will be room in the pits.
The Dirt track and fall fest used the lernerville format but the headline division paid a lot more money.
3 days in the cold and rain to race 10 minutes each day. Does it really make sense?
Just my opinion. What do the fans think? What do you want to see? Heats on Friday or a full show

I've always been a big fan of one day shows for support divisions (which I've always run). Not picking on Lernerville because they will get 280+ cars but I'd love to make the tow one night only.
You're right. We will tow an hour and a half, get two hot laps, wait another 3-4 hours for a heat race and head home (not everyone can camp all weeekend).

That is not the way the Stampede was designed. The thrill of it all is to give the fans NINE features for NINE different classes in ONE day. But the only way it is possible to run the heats on a different day. Given the circumstances, this is most likely the best way to run the show. Its just been bad luck with weather. Next year could be beautiful and sunny each day. But don't change it because of something you cant control
