he had some knowledge, but alot of it always seemed, "im better than you and ill try as hard as i can to prove it" knowledge. plus the fact that he constantly bashed northern tracks was ridiculous. ive never heard anyone complain, or bash a place as much as he has about places he either won't race, or is too afraid to be beaten at.

You have to understand Jon, he runs a business, and racing is only possible if that business thrives. Traveling is not an option for everyone. He could be quite offensive, I agree, and opinionated, but he did liven the place up. There are far worse a$$holes out here.... ME, for example...

Then you won't have to deal with all of the spam and other nonsense on here. He says everything on there he did here, banning him did nothing to quiet him down.

He never actually bashed the tracks. He bashed the attitudes of some of the fans and racers from up that way. And the attitudes he bashed, well, they were/are worthy of the bashing he gave them.

understandable. but there is indeed a difference. being confident doesnt mean you have to use that confidence in such a way that it degrades other drivers, tracks, owners, so on and so forth.Not really, without confidence you just look stupid being cocky.
cockyness, is just that, cocky attitudes, know-it-all mind set, so on and so forth.
listen, i've 100% agreed with the legend on a number of topics, and he's agreed on some of mine as well. i'll be the first to admit that he has some good views on things. and his wit is entertaining but the downgrading of other people and tracks is a bit uncalled for.
