to start with probably...just going off the press release

"The Sweeney RUSH Sportsman Modifieds have already had over 40 racers express interest from throughout the region. A wide array of racers are planning on hitting the dirt track in the new class in spring 2014. Jerry Schaffer, a longtime Modified racer, car owner, and sponsor, quickly offered his support of the class at the Precise meeting and will have a car in action. The Siegel Brothers, Adam and Bobby, are looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of a Modified. Second generation racer, Rocky Kugel, has spent his career between Late Models and E-Mods, but will give the Modified division a shot. He’s already purchased a race ready Sportsman from New York. Young racers Tyler Dietz, J.C. Boyer, Eric Beggs, and Ryan Riffe will look to make their mark in Modified racing. Racers like Don Brown, Mike Miller, Marvin Williams, Jeff Stuchel, Ray Atkins, Ken Moy, Jr., Tom Livengood, Ed Wozniak, Jim Bryce, and many others are planning to compete."

Is there going to be a fuel rule????

F.) Only VP 98 Racing Gasoline, the official fuel of RUSH will be permitted for competition. VP-98 or a maximum octane will be the only specified fuel permitted at any RUSH-sanctioned Sportsman Modified event (Note: the VP-98 will be available at all speedways hosting RUSH Sportsman Modified events.) In addition a maximum “94 octane, R+M/2” standard pump gasoline will be permitted. Blending of fuels or gasoline, including VP spec (including ‘D’) fuels of different octane will not be permitted. Alcohol, methanol, nitrous oxide, nitro-methane and/or propylene oxide will not be permitted. Fuel may be subject to inspection and testing at any time. Proof of purchase for the official fuel of RUSH Sportsman Modifieds may be required.

The big blocks use to put on a hell of a show at Marion Center.
Scott Gurdak, Mark Flick, Dick Rankin, Bob Wearing Sr & Jr, the Hoffman's, Cochran, etc....
Could never figure why Potts got rid of them???

We'll just have to wait until the first race to see whose committed and whose not.... To many ppl Bullshit about putting cars together for this division so you don't know who to believe. Hopefully they do get a decent amout of cars, but just because their are 40 ppl who have intrest in the class doesn't mean anything.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that has a race ready car...just hope track give time ti build and don't dump us right off the bat.

I asked Stan Lester the Fastrak president a while ago if he would allow Kevin Bolland to race to get the car counts up if the 777 got the right motor but he didn't answer he said before to call him but I didn't want to call long distance to call him so I guess he won't answer people on the message board but now people are asking about his new modified class maybe Mr. Fastrak will change his phone call only policy to answer questions of racers since you already have your car ready to go. Imagine how cool it would be to race with Revin Kevin 777 every race and the fans would love it too but you better be ready to replace some bent parts because the 777 gets to victory lane the exciting way not sitting around waiting for you to let him by but you will definitely get better racing with Bolland and learn from his popular and successful aggressive driving style

it's HILDO with an H
