A touring series race with qualifying is the only way I'm coming there , and even then if there's not a better event somewhere else .... Amp and Clinton county are not high on my list of must see tracks

good call legend, them tracks are like racin inside a cheerio.....get all tore up!

just givin you a hard time is all. you would have a pretty good haul from where youre at to get up here. I really don't blame you for not showing up for the pay that these places do have. especially when you're closer to lernerville and ppms. they tend to have bigger shows anyway.

Not to mention..... I would be willing to make a substancial bet that an "Oldtimer" Like Mr. Jake Shady would hand it to the Legend! And probably the Yoders and quite a few others up there! Some Quality cars run up at Clinton County!

I'd make sure that doesn't happen.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to travel 2 or three hours to race for the same purse that you can race for closer to home. Since CPS is paved and Hesston isn't running, there really aren't any big money late model shows in our area to draw teams in anymore. There is a vast difference between short track and big track racing. Short track racing is definitly a contact sport...

So then this means that places like Hagerstown or Selinsgrove or Bedford or Portroyal, or Williamsgrove (all big Half Miles) would be easy competition(Hillbilly Tracks) compared to PMS?? I allways thought Hagerstown was (The Capitol) of dirt racing! Where "Legend" were born. And where the big paying dirt races got there start??? Just saying! You raced a UFO race at Bedford once ?? didn't you?? How did that work out for you????

Man this crap gets old.... Legend is a business man.. He's smart to stay local.. He's also wise enough to know short track racing IS a contact sport and he wants to keep his stuff nice.. He races the big tracks or races that are worth going to from some sort of business standpoint.. Do I like the fact that he tears apart what are guys up this way are? No.. Because lettering some of the stuff up here.. I know there is just as good equipment here as there is where hes racing.. But lets be real here.. it seems everyone gets offended when he starts taking shots at the Central Regions guys.. You don't want shot at quit loading the damn gun for him. Tracks like Pittsburgh where he runs takes a totally different driving style and set up to run in comparison to our short tracks up here... IF you think for one minute you are gonna take Exactly what you have and go down there and pitch it in the corner it ain't gonna happen... Same as if he were to bring Exactly what he has up here... He's smart enough not to do it and run his mouth about it.. Now.. This kinda sounds like I'm feeding his ego.. I'm not.. He and I had our differences about me supporting a race a Pittsburgh because he felt like I was stepping on the "locals" toes.. TOTALLY different issue than what I'm talking about here.. Everyone gets offended because he keeps calling us out as stupid "hicks" HELLO people.. stop responding like stupid "Hicks". Here's my thought on the racing.. Any given day on our short tracks.. I would put Hoffner's, Farrell's, Blose, Stile, and a pile of others against Legends stuff and those guys would probably win.. But give him some time to figure it out... The same Goes for the big tracks.. Any given day he would probably beat those guys.. Until they had some time to figure it out.. This round and round pissing contest is what he loves!!!! Because he will call you all (and me) out.. and we just have to say something... and most of the replies have become soooooo typical that he probably has a bag full of replies just waiting for everyone who wants to run their mouth.... End rant!! LMAO!!!

Not a thing....but you made it out like PMS is the premier half mile track in the country! And that it gets all the best cars and drivers! And that no drivers from other area's can compete there! I usually only see around 12 latemodels on a weekly bassis! And certainly not the caliber driver that raced there in days of old! I'll give you Geisler...Miley's .... Feree's I think those guys could win anywhere! But we are talking a half dozen guys! If your statement is correct...Guys like Covert....Meyers...Yoders....Lathrom....Bernheisel....Haus's...Jt Spence.... Stuhler.....Freise.....Pettyjohns...Stile....Blose....ect... Must all be Pikers????
