Hello, Tomorrow, Saturday Dec, the 14th will be the Twin State Auto Racing Club's Banquet, in Niles Ohio, at The Ciminero's Banquet Center, on Rt 46, in Downtown Niles. Twin State will be Honoring the Drivers chosen for the Club Awards; ROOKIE of the YEAR-Jamie Wrightsman. MOST IMPROVED - MIKE CLARK. HARD LUCK - STEVE HAEFKE. BUD CRUM MEMORIAL SPORTSMAN AWARD - TIM DEUTSCH. RUSS KING MEMORIAL OWNER of the YEAR - JIM WHITE SR. And the Charles & George Findlay Memorial Driver of the YEAR AWARD - RICH MICHAEL JR. ALSO AWARDS FOR THE TWIN STATE HALL OF FAME; Note: We had 3 ties this year, & all ties are winners. DECEASED DRIVERS, (3) ELECTED, - BOB JAMES, PAUL (PUTSY) KEKICH, & TONY DELILLO. FORMER LIVING DRIVERS, (3 elected, & a tie, 4 winners.) DON DOWNEY, BOB KRAUSS HANK JACOBY & EARL TEETERS. CURRENT DRIVER, One to be elected, but a tie= 2 winners. (Started racing before 1993) DICK BARTON, & ALAN DELLINGER. TRACK OWNER/PROMOTER; (tie) --GORDON ALLEN, & FRANK BANICK. TRACK OFFICIAL; PAT LONGLEY. DRAG RACER; RICK BAYUS OWNER/MECHANIC; (2 elected), BILL EMIG, & FRANK CRASH. MY HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE FINE FOLKS, & AWARD WINNERS. I Truly hope you have made plans to join us, as we honor these fine folks. And pay Homage to the Drivers, Owners, Track Officials, And those who have passed from us. Or hope to see you there.
