2014 GROUND HOG 100 ENDURO RULES
1) Driver must be 16 years old and provide ID to receive driver’s wristband.
2) Open to any 4 or 6-cylinder hardtop 2 or 4 door passenger car. No trucks, 4-wheel drives, or convertibles. Station wagons are allowed. Engine must be stock for make, model and year with no alterations. Must have exhaust, no turbos and no superchargers.
3) All lights, moldings, plastics, mirrors and windows must be removed completely.
Windshield removal is optional. If removed, a screen must be in place to protect the driver.
4) Tires and wheels must be stock for make and model of car. Tires for “Passenger Vehicles Only”
No racing tires. No truck or light truck tires. No studded tires. Maximum 6” wide wheels.
5) All cars must have a 5 point racing harness and driver’s side window net installed.
Driver must wear a 2005 Snell Approved helmet. Driver must wear leather shoes, gloves, 100% cotton long sleeve shirts and pants. No shorts, short sleeve shirts or tank tops.
A driver’s suit is highly recommended.
6) No alteration or reinforcement of frame or body. No cutting or gutting of any panels. No bracing in front of front firewall. Cars must have full body. Door Bar or Brace across driver’s door is mandatory and must be 1½ inch pipe or 1 inch x 3 inch flat stock steel.
7) Trunks, hatchbacks and doors must be fastened shut by bolting, chaining or welding.
8) All bumpers must be stock and securely strapped or chained to the frame. NO Reinforcing allowed.
9) All cars must be numbered on both sides. Numbers must be at least 16” Height.
10) Batteries must be located in the engine compartment or may be on the passenger side floor area and must be securely fastened and covered.
11) Seat must be fastened solid to the floor.
12) Gas tank may be in original position or strapped in trunk with at least four (4) one-inch straps. Wall must remain between driver compartment and trunk. Fuel Lines run through the driver compartment must be in a pipe.
13) Roll cage: cars must be equipped with a rollover hoop to protect the driver. Hoop is to be constructed of seamless 1 1/2” x 1/8” wall pipe welded to right and left side frame rails behind the driver. Hoop must be behind driver’s head. Full Roll Cages are acceptable.
14) All cloth and other flammable material must be removed except for the driver’s seat.
15) Hoods must be securely fastened with at least two pins. A 12” hole in the center of the hood is is recommended for fire fighting access.
16) Driver must supply one person to score.
17) Cars found to be illegal will not receive entry fee back and will be disqualified
18) Cars must be removed from track property by March 1, 2014 or will become property of CNB Bank Raceway Park.

If you are at Mercer for the Jack Frost 150 and want to sign up for the Groundhog 100 see Bobby Siegel. He will be taking registrations right at the track.
Also, if you are at Mountain Speedway for Frostbite 7 and want to sign up for the Groundhog 100 see Rob Hindt. He will be taking registrations there also.
Remember it is first come - first served, so register early to get a better starting spot!
