Jon, According to the latest schedule from PPMS which I recieved on Monday the 23rd and posted here last night, the Penn National is an NDRL race scehduled for Thursday April 10th.

There will be updates to the schedule as dates are finalized and other details are worked out. I'm sure Matt, Marcie or myself will post any additional changes as soon as possible.

No I don't "work" for PPMS nor have I in the past any more than I "work" for any race track. I am a car nut as well as a very well respected free lance photographer and I do support auto racing as much as I can. I have made many posts supporting PPMS, Mercer, Lernerville, Sharon, among others and will continue to do this. As it stands right now, I have thousands of photographs on my FaceBook page showcasing everything from dirt and asphalt to Monster trucks and drag racing and a few car shows scattered in there too. Check it out if you'd like. My screen name is "Frank Dubya."

And unlike many on this forum, I don't think you will find any disparaging comments from me toward any race track, driver, car owner or fan. Social commentary is not my mission in life.

I will continue to maintain the PPMS website as well as help with promotion and take photos at PPMS, Lernerville, Mercer, Motordrome, Sharon the NDRL, World of Outlaws, Dirt, B.O.S.S. ARDC migets, Rush, Fastrak events, the World of Wheels etc and any other event or venue that will help promote this sport that we all enjoy.

But I am curious. If I was to take a position working for PPMS or any other race track, what business is it of yours?

FRANK

I think John Kennedy deserves a round of applause ... He brought big time dirt late model racing back to ppms and there's no other way on earth that was ever going to happen . The sport desperately needs more people like him

Kennedy's comment about WoO and Lucas....."one cut my hand off, the other has been great" is priceless. Go NDRL and this could spell the end of the WoO.

and if the WoO goes down the drain does it take Lernerville with it?

out of the 3 series, two are backed by serious cash and the other shows a continual loss..hope it never comes to that.

Worst case it seems like someone could get a great deal on lernerville in bankruptcy court ...

The same stuff has been said about WRG since its inception about how they are losing so much money and are going under. Hasn't happened yet, and their drivers get paid. One mistake people seem to make is that WRG has their cart hitched to the WOO LM horse and their success depends strictly on how that series does. Completely ignoring the STP WoO Sprint series which operates without opposition and is a huge draw. Plus to a lesser extent the Super Dirt series. They can decide to fold the LM series and still exist. Two winters ago everyone was convinced the ROC series would be ending the WRG involvement in the Mod world as Fulton and Brewerton went away from Dirtcar and now a couple yrs later they are going back. The same happened with NST for Sprints. Kinser Lasoski and most of the big teams left WOO and most predicted their demise. Most said the WoO wouldn't survive with lower tier drivers like Schatz and Saldana. We saw how thatt turned out. The WoO Lates outlasted xrteme and have stayed neck and neck with Lucas. I just have seen this to many times before to come out and bury the WRG group. They have survived several challenges before.
