Thanks plymouthman! 2007 - Scott Bloomquist 2008 - Keith Barbara 2009 - DJ Myers 2010 - Robbie Blair I don't think the race was run in 2011. 2012 was the first year back to asphalt and the Yankee Doodle was not held in 2012 or 2013.

My personal favorite was 2009 when DJ Myers won the $10,000! He has always been one of my favorite late model drivers, so seeing him get that win was pretty cool.

1982 was a good one. Lynn went to the rear ,twice. Still almost got it. 2006 was my favorite, Clanton on the high side.

I'm guessing '99 or 2000. I don't remember seeing him at all in 2001 or 2002, and I was there almost every week those two years.

Clanton's win in 2006 was fun to watch, and man, what a crowd they had that night!!! That is still the biggest crowd I've ever seen there. Probably the one that I will remember the most is the year that Sheetz McGarvey led almost the whole race and broke on the last lap giving the win to Jerry Redden.

I was standing near Wearing and Geisler after the race. They were both smiling and laughing. I will never forget overhearing Lynn tell Bob, "I tried to give you room back there." Two great drivers and class acts.
