Here's a few from Heidelberg in 1971, They were taken with a pocket instamatic, so quality is far from professional:

Can't remember this one- Delmar Clark maybe?

The cars at Heidelberg were gorgeous racecars, whether Chevelles, Fairlanes, Torinos, Mustangs, Buicks, Pontiacs, or the few Mopars. Used to stand at the end of the front straightaway, and watch the cars coming out of the fourth turn, amazing!!!

I spent my share of time at Heidelberg. I know they were great looking cars. That's why I like the way the street stocks look down at Bedford,Hagerstown and Winchester.

The first Butler Speedway operated from 1950 to 1955 at the Butler High School location. It moved to Prospect in 1960 and weekly races were held there through 1973.The track raced 1974-1978 during Fair Week.
