Track needed lots of work last time I was there. Large gaps in the first and fourth turns from a pipeline. Also the back straight washed out. I had pics from a few years ago.

Unless I went to the wrong track........ Don't look like the Pennsboro I went to.

There's always more speed! And you don't have to cheat to find it!

That is the real Pennsboro, the terraced hill side is unmistakable. We ran the 88 and 89 World 100 there.

awesome more daytime train racing with no tooth hillbillies burning the porta john's. I was there in 94 and didn't lose a darn thing, I wouldn't go back if Jesus H. Christ was racing.

I think Pennsboro held the Pittsburgher in those years also.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

I agree racing wasn't usually too exciting there, 100 lap daylight race, but you have to experience the "Magic of Pennsboro" to understand the excitement here. Legendary atmosphere, stories you wouldn't believe, and one of the orginal races where you literally got EVERY big name on one weekend without any conflicts. Some of my best memories with my Dad, family and friends were there, and I can't wait to go back! Although, it won't be from Wednesday-Sunday any more lol. I can't hang like I used to.

For once some of you knuckle heads are correct it was the Hill Billy 100. And yes it was a day race and a dust bowl.
