This is what he said in victory lane after winning the WoO late model race at Volusia last night......

“We’re donating every dollar we make on this Speedweeks trip (Georgia and Florida) to the Wounded Warriors (Project),” said Pettyjohn, referring to the charity that benefits wounded American soldiers. “When we get home, my car owner (Brian Donley of Abingdon, Md.) will cut a check and send it to the Wounded Warriors Project. With this win, I think we’re over $11,500 now for the trip.”

what a great way to honor our wounded soldiers. he put it to some good competiton last night also, way to go. when brady smith got to second i thought for sure he would win. the first two nights at volusia have had 2 upset winners. maybe 3 tonight?

We were rooting for him the whole way. These are the type of guys you want to see win, especially against all those big dollar teams.

Not to split hairs but it sound like the " car owner " made that call ... Either way that's pretty impressive that a guy is willing and able to do that and congratulations to him . I know people are going to hate this comment but why in the fuc$ Do charities like wounded warriors need to Exist ???? It really aggravates me that we have money for food stamps , welfare , Obama phones , endless unemployment , section 8 housing , subsidized college tuition etc etc for worthless pile I excrement just because they are the right color ... Yet our brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us get $hit on by our government !!! If you fight for this country and you are wounded taking care of you should be out absolute first priority !!! Then if there's no money left for the ghetto splibs then oh well ...

that is correct legend. Hats off to that team though and Kenny drove great race .And as for other rant. I agree we take care of to many dead beat in this country
