It was a good/great/fun show Sunday priced right and couldn't get my discount money out fast enough for some ice cream.

Even bought a giant sized burger patty and water there for $7.

The car we were rooting for in the Vicky Late feature won and all in all a good time was had.

... just wish stands were packed as I remember them  ... :(

Exciting stock feature too !

Enjoyed with anticipation the trips around the track by King to win.

Left before the Vicky mod feature.

Vicky mods turned out to not be a very entertaining division. Sprints and lates can be good.

My dad drove late models in the early 70's at North Hills, Butler, Mercer, Blanket Hill, and occasionally Tri City. We won the last late model track championship at Blanket Hill.

I'm curious who you think should have been black flagged, since I didn't see anything prior to the end of the Late Model race, and that could have been taken care of by the officials after the race. A black flag would be the race director's call now. The flagman is ornamentation anymore.

Alright, fine. Then the race director needs to instruct the flagman to black flag Norris for dumping Ferree. It was bad enough Norris elbowed Schaltenbrand out of the way earlier in the feature. Norris has zero respect for the locals, and it has been on display at far too frequent intervals going back to last season. At a minimum, he should have been sent to the back. That's why most of the paying fans had no problem with Zarin's terrible slide job that put he and Norris into the wall.
