I had the chance to meet the Dirt Doctor and have a few conversations with him about how to grow the Hesston Speedway right after he was diagnosed with cancer. Dave is what this sport needed and in the short time he owned the Hesston Speedway he was able to turn it into a first class facility. I hope someone can take over his dream and continue to make the speedway the place to be like he envisioned it. God Speed Dave and I hope you're watching down on all of us racers and enthusiasts.

I have had the priveledge to have talked to the dirt doctor a time or two. That is to say I listened only as he mentioned his gratitude to us for showing up with our car. In the short time I got to meet the man and observe him working around the many drivers and crews...I could tell he loved this sport and gave everything he had to it. I am grateful to have met him and also proud we have ppl in this sport like him. My prayers to him and his family. They will know...he will never be forgotten..
