Bill Wheeling in the Bert Wible 05 car, L&M car is Nick Lupe owned, # 2 Frank Benic owned could be Paul Brown or Putsy Kecich.

Johnny Cochran in #27, Bobby Tudor would know about the Ruby Special, a car that he built.

L&M looks to be a Nick Lupe owned car but not Ralph and # 2 was a Frank Benic owned car.

33 is Mel Chess 62 is Serge Tesloin from Canada 21 I believe is Mike Gregg 2 was actually owned by Don Carnes and had several drivers. I think this might be Jack West.

Why do I like racing ? Well the colors are bright and there is a lot of movement, so it holds my attention.

I remember when they were selling that # 2 at an auction at the sandblasters just outside Mercer. Didn't go because I didn't think I had enough money to buy it. It was an Altafater chassis and not going at least to see it sold was a mistake. Believe the # 21 still exists. :(

Quite a few of these cars had more than one driver, so sometimes hard to tell. The shot of the Al Cubic owned #20 looks much more like Herb Buck than Banick. Will look at some of my old photos for some closer matches!! Remember back then a good many drivers didn't own their own cars as today. The Bert Wible #05 had at least three divers, Wheeling, Jack Sodeman and Mercer's Bob Axe (Not the Axe that won the first race at Lernerville. Then that car was #4 with Hank Jacoby driving for a while before Wible got out of owning race cars. Walt

I think it is the guy that bought the car from Bobby Tudor.
