Walt

On Sunday afternoons after church in Butler, my dad would say let's go for a ride. It was usually up north and one Sunday afternoon we happened upon a track that had been carved out along the road. The best part was they had stacked the dirt in the infield. I want to say it was near Kaylor. There were no grandstands and they might have run only a few times. It seems we had our 1953 210 at the time. I guess some elder Kaylorite will have to come to our aid. And no, this wasn't a dream. :)

I thought a similar topic came up a few years ago and I thought it was concluded that Don Luffy may have built it.

I have located both sites on Google earth. One off spruce road and one off road behind sons of Italy in bradys bend. Pretty good outlines of tracks still. Spruce red looks like might be converted into a backyard motocross. Soi one clearly circle track.. I have screen shots but not sure how to put pics on here

Is that from the east or west on 68. Also there is no Ponchie Hollow Road on Google Maps.

It has pine trees grown up on it now, but for years you could clearly see it from 38.
