That place is indeed fast, I had the pleasure of wheeling a factory ride for Titan chassis there once. They didn't care for the Yankee being there is all I have to say haha. They definitely race differently there. The guy who wrenched on it for me told me that on the starts and restarts you put your kart on the guys bumper in front of you and hold the throttle wide open and make him use his brake and that's clear in the video thats how they do things.

Thanks for posting- sure brings back fond memories of a $15k to win race that got away from us in KY. Miss those days a lot.
For anyone interested in this I strongly suggest taking in the races at Blairsville Speedway some Saturday night this summer.
Great racing, great food, great racers.

I would also suggest Blairsville. Great track and great people involved in running it. Show is smooth and so is the surface.
As far as the racing down south, you all are right. Totally different world down there. Although, as I am sure a couple of guys above can attest, there is a huge difference even between western and eastern pa kart racing. Just somehow alot more intense out that way and down South it seems. More money maybe? Not sure, but definately huge difference.
