Very Sad news! But I think a statement as well to how old the people involved in this sport are getting. It seems like you never retire from Racing! You die there! Its your life! When you look at how old some of the Competitors are in this sport compared to others ... Its amazing! Hell....PMS has several weekly drivers in thier latemodel division in thier mid 60's (Uncle Benny and Lynn and Ed Feree) And others in thier Mid 50's. Most tracks boast drivers in thier Mid 50's I beleive Steve Kinser is 60 and Sammy not far behind! As is Billy Moyer in his late 50's! With Bloomer Chub Oneal Eckert The Juice all in thier 50's now! Where are the young Lions? R.I.P. Huey!

The cost of the sport from all the greedy fuel, tire and machine companies along with tracks refusing to evenly match the YEARLY rising cost will keep you from ever seeing a wave of "young lions"

I was shocked to read this and it's a really sad story with how he has become a major force on the east coast with tons of guys running his MBH cars . All that work to get the business booming and now he doesn't get to enjoy it. Honestly after seeing this sorry I ran 2 extra miles today and spent extra time at the store reading food labels. Rest in peace .

Really hurts to wake up to this news. Huey was a great man, who worked very hard to get to where he was today. Over the years he helped the likes of Stuhler, Eckert, McBee, Lathroum etc.. Thooughts and prayers to the family and MANY close friends he had. RIP buddy..

Yep, sad deal for sure.. Hagerstown is putting together some kind of cermeony to honor Huey this Friday at the Lucas race. His wish was to be cremated and have his ashes spread at a racetrack, preferably Hagerstown...
