The sportsman race at PPMS was a good one. The 64K made an evasive maneuver coming out of turn 4. It looked like it upset the handling of the car and he tried to regain control on the front stretch. The 64 spun going into turn one. Unfortunately another car then T- boned him. I don't get how you can be wrecking down the front stretch for an eighth of a mile then get slammed by another car. If drivers aren't looking far enough ahead to prevent this type of crash then its going to bend a lot of race cars. There was no other cars around. It looked like an expensive night for the 64K. I hope you get back out soon.

Fire all your guns at once.

Wow, thanks. Just got on the computer for the first time today and saw this post. Deffently lil soar today. Thanks for your concern dano47. You explained it perfectly. I was coming off of turn 4 hot n heavy and I cut down an tapped the brake from running into the back of Todd 45jr inturn upset my car all the way down the front streatch, then I finally looped it in turn 1. Thought I would be safe sitting there until 3-4 seconds later 21d T.boned me almost full speed. You would think he would have seen me being out of control, but unfortuntly I am racing in a stock class and your gonna have rookies or novices that never learned to look past their air cleaners. O'well thats racing. atleast I'm Ok, but the car is bent in half. It did its job safety wise. SS chassis is well built safe car and I wouldnt drive no other street stock! Its gonna take awhile before we get back on the track but we will be back later this year. Thanks, not mad at anyone! Craig 64k...

I sit way down in the first section of the main grandstand, pretty high up, and the thud that crash made was scary. Was glad to see you get out of your car pretty quickly.

Craig..... Don't think that happens only in stock classes , about not looking past the air cleaner. It happens in the higher classes too. Plus , there are guys that just can't drive , that someone is paying the bills for , that just smash other cars because they are just a moron! So , It happens everywhere , in most classes. You aren't alone on getting torn up because of someone else's stupidity

I remember way back in the 1990s when drivers would walk up to each other and say dude what were you looking at when u hit me and he would say sorry what were you doing crashing for almost a half mile before I hit you. Then they would shake hands, laugh and race again. Thank god for race stud and Facebook so keyboard cowboys can think they know it all names less. At least Craig signed his name after he let off steam. Gary Smith
