(New Castle, PA) As the 2014 racing season is underway and the first event for the Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series is just 40 days away, May 31st at Pittsburghs Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Director Shaun Hooks continues to add additional sponsors to the series. Getting the racing season underway has only increased the excitement about our first event and our entire series stated Hooks The support continues to grow on a weekly basis.

Registrations are still open for the series and series director Shaun Hooks is still offering an option of paying ½ of the $500.00 registration fee now and the other ½ at or prior to the first race, set for Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway on May 31st. Thus far 22 drivers have committed to run for the first championship. A list of the drivers is available on the web site at www.pennohioprostocks.com.

The Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series will feature at least 10 events located in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania at various tracks utilizing the tracks rules and format. Registered Drivers for the series will receive points towards the year end championship with a guaranteed $5,000 point fund.
