[CNB Bank Raceway Park]

The race scheduled for May 4th has been cancelled.
We are committed to rebuilding local asphalt racing.

However, our May race did not have a touring series as a main event and the local car counts are not enough at this point to put on a good show.

We expect to hold Opening Day on May 18th with a 75 Lap Late Model Race as the main event.

With the schedule and promotion of Jennerstown, very local are all the cars they will get. A 5/8 mile dirt track running specials only might actually be a year or two away.

Sounds like Motordrome had a lousy turnout tonight..including only 5 late models. You've gotta wonder how long that will be allowed to go on...

Yeah late models and street stocks were bad, 5-6 cars the fan count was worse- but that was to be expected considering 1. It's early in the season. 2. It was cold and wet all week. Corporate sponsorship for the track seems to be super strong- hopefully they will focus on fan count like last year which was better than it had been for years. It's gonna be tough- clearly the impact of Jtown can be seen in three divisions- although minimal in four cyl.. Jtown really seems reponsive to the teams and is doing all they can to get guys up- the drive is just brutal. We will see.
