No , in my book starting with nothing and making your self a millionaire by your mid 30's is more impressive than spending a million dollars of someone else's money to make 100k . There's not a man on this planet I'm jealous of because I know there's very few that have it in them to do what I have done .

I wouldn't even say Satterlee is a "local kid" anymore haha.  I'd say he is one of the higher class drivers now.

He will always be "local" just as Chub, the Blaneys, Tim Shaffer and now Danny Holtgraver and we should be proud of them all!!!  Just because a local driver makes good on the National scene he doesn't cease to be from our area and we should root them all on wherever they are racing!!

GOOD RACING TO ALL!!!

Walt

Not trying to say he isn't a local anymore or anything, but no one should be surprised by his accomplishments.  He's a wheel man.  and a Damn Good one at that haha.

There are alot of local drivers around the area that can wheel, but you never hear anybody talking them up, they just may not have the funds to take it to the next level, those are the ones you need to keep in mind, Some people seem to forget the guys that struggle to work at a job all week and still keep a team goin without alot of help, those are the ones that i praise the most.

I just don't know what your problem is ! Did Robbie Allen tell you to go flake off ? A little jealous of Gregs accomplishments ? You are a joke ! Then to talk about your oral fixasions . Just makes you look like the ass everyone knows you are .

So Satterlee is the first race car drive to race off of someone elses dime?  I would bet the money comes from family. Something i would do for my family too. They earned it, they can spend it the way they see fit. I've never seen them on this board bragging about how much money they have or how they are the best fuel delivery company on the planet. They go about their business and do with their money what they want. The only one who has a say about how you spend your money is your wife and the IRS. Sometimes in reverse order.

It's all about perspective , I would never attempt to tell anyone how to spend their money , but when you take a NASCAR operation to race against guys who run out of their house just isn't that impressive to me. It's like a guy at a shooting range hitting bull eyes with a musket from 300 yards ... That's impressive.... The same guy hitting bulls eyes at 300 yards with a mc million bolt action 50 cal isn't that impressive. Remember Austin Hubbard was winning outlaw shows and running top 3 with Robbie Allen and now he isn't . Yeah the dude is a threat to win with his NASCAR operation where ever he goes AND he should be !! I will not be told by anyone who the hell I should respect or who the hell I should be impressed by. Jim Stephan's winning 2 late model features last year at ppms is 50 times more impressive to me than anything saterlee has done. When saterlee racks up the same resume as Scott Bloomquist I will be impressed

So once you go big you can not come back and run for fun where you started. So now you want to have all entrant to provide a financial statment whe signing in the pits. Plus if you have a crew chief who has one on the big level he must wait in the parking lot and not advise. I could actually care less what Bloomquist has done. He does not impress me. Never has never will. I don not care if he wins a billion races.
