It was good to see Big John Reed's late model leading the parade laps at Hummingbird Speedway tonight but it was also a sad reminder that he will no longer be part of what makes racing exciting.  Here's to you Big John, thanks for the memories.

09 in late models was Scott Stein....who also won the king of the hill...

I was thinking Stine but I didn't have a driver form for him and it was a bit late and the mind was on a 48 hours run at that point.  Completely forgot to mention the KOH.  Stay tuned for the full report.

One of the absolute best late model races I've seen there... Or about anywhere for that matter. Good clean competitive racing in all classes that I saw.
