Darren will have surgery on Wednesday Morning. We are asking for continued prayers. Darren had a wonderful visit from Pastor Bill Beck today, and we thank everyone for the messages and phone calls.  Darren is scheduled to have an interview via phone with Mercer Raceway Park Saturday night.

Not to be a Johnny come lately smart ass, but to offer some helpfull advice.  There is a very low cost insurance avaible to drivers and pit crews. Here is a link to get more info on it.  The phone number is 317 379-1644   I have the insurance, and have nothing else to do with the company, I just think its a good deal.

Darren is back in his room after surgery. He will be in hospital at least 7 more days. His surgery went well, and we appreciate everyones prayers, and concerns. He will be back behind the wheel as soon as possible, but doctor said it will be at least 3-6 months depending on the healing and rehab.

I will keep everyone updated.

Thank you

Rod Pifer

Check out Area Auto Racing paper!!  It has an article about this accident!! However, it gives a complete

opposite story than what is written here...Now who is right???  After reading this BS on race stud, I am

going to believe the AAR paper....And, as always, disregard the complete BS that is written here......

I am going to Pray for Darrens complete and perminate recovery!!!

Well, DUH..

You may want to get more facts about the situation before you act like you know everything about it. Just saying.....

You will notice the firemen in uniform in the turns with their equipment and the safety crew also in uniform in their specially equipped vehicle.  Check it out at Sportsmans.

Absolutely thrilled for Darren Pifer. He told me today he is getting out of the hospital on Monday. What this young man has endured would completely demoralize a normal man. Not once has he complained despite the pain he has been in. I just cringed when I looked at his bandages. Having a friend like Darren makes you want to be a better person. Out of the hospital Monday and into my booth next Saturday night and back behind the wheel on August 16th. That is the plan for now. So happy for you Darren and your family. Praise God for the healing and be strength of this young man!
