And what does this spotter do????

Does he remotely control the car?

Does he hold up signs to tell him where to drive?

Do you really think a driver hauling a$$ around that track is looking in the stands at a spotter?

I guess it's all part of racing - You win people come up with ways that you cheat.

The Kings are running good, myself I think it's traction control - LOL!

Congrats to the KINGS

Many of the drivers have spotters in the stands and or pit fence/stands that use hand signals or flash lights to communicate various things to them.

Not a thing illegal about it......

Actually some of the touring series don't allow it.

But none of them actually enforce that.

Actually some of the touring series don't allow it.

Have seen it done at various WoO Late Model, WoO Sprint, DIRT Mod, Lucas Oil Late Model, All Star Sprint, and other series races.

They may not allow it but they don't enforce it either......

Wait till the firecracker and will you see a good amount of spotters along the fence or in the stands in turn 4. The kings got the program together this year and their doing great, Just as Alex has done in the past, Miley ect.

When Jason Covert used to run Lernerville's big shows, one of his crew guys would stand all the way down in the entry to turn one right at the corner of the two fences to signal. I'm surprised nobody else ever started doin that.

Two things have been going on since there has been racing, hand signals and people not liking when some one wins and they think the reason why is because they cheat. Go Kings looks like iys going to be a great year.

Nothing can be gained by using a spotter, sure they can signal some hand stuff but ultimately its all up to the driver and setup,ei tires, a spotter can do nothing for that, its a no brainer,

Yep. He was a fairly big dude who looked like he was in his late 20's/early 30's.

First off if you think that a driver has time to look every lap and try to find a guy giving signals your wrong. We tried that when we raced and yes it did work only when you were a good bit behind the car in front of you. Other wise the driver has to watch the cars in front to avoid a wreck. Alex ferree's crew guy stands on the steps in tuern 4 at lernerville and watches and gives signals here in there. No sense to signal a driver that isnt up front.

I remember a lady (Dale3forever) used to get pissed at him for using hand signals. She used to throw things at him. I saw her throw a water bottle at him once.  She hasn't been around for a few years. Heard she was pretty sick. My old lady and her did not get along at all.

This topic is ridiculous. What next will the guys winning be accused of doing? Tires, Spotters, traction control... I pick that there using Rocket Fuel that gives them and advantage. Fact are that any team out there could do the exact same thing if they thought that was the advantage. How about you applaud that guys winning instead of trying to find faults.

First and foremost congrats to KIng racing on another great performance.

Personally I think radios need to be brought back for safety sake. Wheather it be to tell a driver of a visible problem with car, info on what line is turning the best laps for him, when he is clear to move to a different line, or where to run/stay to get the fuk outa the way if down a lap, or pull in if down a lap . If you get someone obviously blocking passe,s via radio input, you dump them.

Most of the wild drama signaling by spotters is never seen by a driver running under full power, under green light conditions.
