How can you have positive feed back for what is being called a special and only has what most tracks pay on a regular night or less.

Sorry D1RT...I know your going to mad at me But.......   In 1976..Jennerstown Speedway Paid $800.00 to win and $200.00 for tenth and $35.00 to start for a $10-$15,000.00  racecar to compete in the Latemodel division!  What this is ...is PATHETIC!  But atleast they don't Claim they are going to race on the folowing Monday any longer and cancel!  I think those shows when they ran them last ...like 10 years ago were $2,000.00 to win!`  Almost won one of those!  Took the white flag and lost a servo on the steering!  Lost it to Doug Horton with half a lap to go!  For the record....I don't think the Promotors are making any either!  It all needs fixed...Just How do you do it!  Maybe the Legend will pull in in his Big Rig and unload the Feature winning piece!

Ain't it funny ??  As close as I live to Marion Center,  I will be going somewhere else on Sat. nite ?

Should go to MCS for their "BIG" special.

$1200 to win.  They actually put something like that on their website ?   One thing for sure...... Always good for a laugh.

I would expect no less on your ride...Legend!  I think what I need to do is post what I think a reasonable modern day payout under current ecomnomic conditions should be!  Funny how all my predictiond seem to be comming true?

No But here is what I think is reasonable!  $1,000.00 to win  $750.00. $600.00, $500.00, $400.00, $375.00, $350.00, $325.00, $300.00, $275.00, $250.00, $225.00, $200.00, $175.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00, $150.00  Thats a purse that will draw good Quality cars and Fans!  Because the fans come to see the name Drivers!  And none of this...Well we will pay this much for this many cars and that much for that many cars!  The pay out is the payout!  I can remember the day when guys :Like Bob Wearing and Gerald Chamberlain and Kenny brightbill would go to the sign in window looking foir thier "Deal Money" envelope!  And if it wasn't there....they didn't go in!  What I posted is a Reasonable.... Fair Payout under current econmomical times!  No one with a quality Superlatemodel should ever be asked to take the track for Less!  Apparentley none of you people know any of these OLD Time stars!  The would NEVER of raced for current purses being offered!  And these guys would of all been Paid drivers as well!  They would of laughed at todays racers racing for that kind of money!  Now I know this is 40 years later!  But why did we go backwards?  And it costd 5 times as much to race!  Maybe Promotors have to raise thier admission prices???  Lincoln Portroyal and  Williamsgrove pay more than that any night to the sprint cars??  As long as guys will race thier cars for no money....thats how it will be!  My last post on the subject!  See you all at the races!
