There not bad to rebuild.  I've helped do 2 now and there are videos on youtube that show you from beginning to end.  Hardest part is putting the clutch assembly in and keeping it compressed and aligned.

I don't know who you could get in the Mars area, but from what I understand, no one is better than Les Myers.
