This should be an interesting race to say the least. I don't think there has ever been a 100 lap crate race in these parts. I am curious to see what will transpire in this event. It could be survival of the fittest and who is left at the end. 30 cars will start, how many does everyone think will actually complete the event? Will we seen plenty of blown motors during the race? How many cars will show up? I'm looking forward to a great show and hope the racing is top notch!

All depends on what fuel u run. There is like a million of them. If u ran pump gas or even 110 u would make a 100 laps no problem. Should be a no fuel stop in my opinion. How much fuel does a crate car use per lap?

That stop at 50 laps is bs.... Should race straight thru
by lap 50 half the field might have dropped out

Also read that during the feature, there will be a designated work area in the pits where all repairs / tire changes must take place. You can only change your tires if they are flat or have a hole in them. If you go back to your pit, you are done for the event.

Umm, if they have a hole in a tire, it will go flat. Can you make holes and bolt on new tires at fuel stop? LOL

Easy playa I was just stating what was on the rush website. At the fuel stop, you can put fuel in, air and tearoffs as well as repair any body damage.

The Crates put on an extremely competitive and highly contested race at PPMS on a weekly basis. I would expect the same thing on Sunday.

I would agree. Typically the crate racing is the best of the night. Plus 100 lappers are part racing part strategy. Gotta keep your car together to be there at the end. As Paul said the fuel stop will help cool the motors. I know if the track is wide open and hammer down the motors will be getting worked out.
