If you get Area Auto Racing News paper check out Ernie Saxtons column on page 6. Its about time someone speaks out on this subject. Kids don't belong in full blown race cars.

So kids like Michael lake and Tyler clem that run up front and win shouldnt be allowed to race?
Absolutley NOT! Its Child abuse! And the people responsible should be charged as such! This isn't a game! Its not for Kids .....and you can get Killed or seriously hurt! or crippled for life, or kill someone else! Any one under the age of 18 doesn't belong in a race car! And those responsible for these kids racing should be prosecuted! Find another way to relive your Life through your children or grandchildren!

I remember one night at thunder mountain I was leading a feature the caution light came on as I entered turn 1 by the time I was going into turn three I was slowed down and so was all the cars I could see. As I exited turn 4 a very young kid around age 13attempted to passed me full speed and drove over my right front(breaking my axel). He said he never seen a caution light. ..
At that age they couldn't focus on watching more then a car length ahead.

They're big fish in tiny little ponds. When thrown into the deep end of the pool, neither has a tendnecy to run up front or win. Michael was especially bad in the Warrior house car.
And no, they shouldn't be allowed to race full size cars.

Someone is going to do something stupid and then the $hit will hit the fan!
Why do they make you wait untill your 16 to get a drivers license ?
They wait till your 16 hoping you are mature enough to make the right decisions while driving.
Keep these kids at the kart track or in the stands!
