wondering what the outcome of the pure stock tech at the bird.

I heard the 3 was legal.  471 was disqualified.  46 was disqualified.  that's all I know of.  I don't know the details beyond that.  sorry  I will say that that class put on one hell of a show though.  What a race!

You could cover the 471, 3, 46, and 32 with a blanket for a while there. Was good hard clean racing. Too bad about the DQ's. Wonder what the infractions were. Doug Surra drives the 3 car.

Yep. Got home around 4am. Back up at 7am to get on the road again. I was the one who conducted the tech. More information to come later today.

I am all for teching. A track must do it, and do it fairly to survive in my opinion. The debate is always "will tech attract or chase cars away?" In this case, sadly chase them away temporarily if they are cheating and still can't win. Hopefully it will bring some other cars from other tracks in the long run. Who knows. Kuddos to the bird though. Took balls to finally step up.

It's fine to tech cars but u can't have a guy tech cars in class where the guy works on one in the same class

I am friends with both. ( friends with whole class). I never touched either car. I live in west Virginia and I am around on Saturday.

I think it's funny how 2nd and 3rd get dq and yet the guy who won four weeks in a row is legal don't that say something

The 3 was legal to the naked eye. Did they pump him? Yea that's what I thought! It's what's on the inside that makes it legal or not. Dumb fuc$@

That  number 3 car will never get a dq  never so the other guys should just get use to it .I talk to a guy over at dog hollow Friday and he said if that car is legal  he is whistlers mother  he said you should hear that thing when he comes out of turn 2.
