Fathers Day Special ??   First "48" fathers get in for 10 Bucks.......

 

Now why in the World would you not leave all fathers in for 10 Bucks ???????

 

I wonder how they came up with that number ????

 

Being Marion Center, nothing surprises me.   Just like their Fan Appreciation nite.  Other tracks usually give a reduced admission.  $5.00 to get in or something in that order.

 

Their idea of thanking their fans is letting them go down on the track and meeting the drivers etc.

 

Oh well !!!!  I never go there so why should i let it bother me.  I just find it kind of amusing in some of the things they do sometimes.

 

It's their track and they can do anything they want to.   IMHO

the 48 is for the track being in operation for 48 years is my guess. And a few years back they did let fathers and mothers in at a reduced price on those weekends when the old man was running it.

Hammertime ...... Sorry if I annoy you.  The solution is really, really simple.  If you see me post a topic or reply to a topic just don't look at it.  Thank you for showing interest though.

 

CHEVY 1A ..... Thanks for clearing things up for me.  Would never have imagined where the 48 number came from.  Also I did not realize Mr. Potts did reduce admission on those special occasions.

I just don't think you should be ripping on a track especially if you don't support it. Marion center speedway is a small town track providing good racing. Its tracks like this that are keeping racing as we know it alive.

The really need to let in all dads for 10 bucks, it wouldnt break them..
