The fact I don't go to the pits, and I'm not the one he punched. All I seen was shutter spinning George.

The kid is a menace on the racetrack. He has only marginally improved over last year. He holds a line better now, but it appears as if he tries to block many times when better cars are trying to pass him. He is still wildly inconsistent and my hope is that he "gets it" before he causes another driver to get hurt.

As far as tonight is concerned, I saw Sesco and the #52, Jim Shuster, tangle just past the entrance to the infield at the exit of turn 2 where the cars enter to scale after the feature. Sesco exited his car, stormed to the #52, and after saying his piece, threw right after right into the cockpit. Probably a good 6 to 8 shots before he was forced back to his car. I was told by my buddy that Shuster drove into him there, obviously well after the race was over. I did not see what angered Jim Shuster during the feature.

I understand there is going to be retribution when you are dumped, especially after the race is over. I'm sure that will enter in to any disciplinary action that might be taken. If It was my call, I'd give both a week off to be fair and tell them to cease and desist, or the next time they can tow out to central Pa. or Ohio to race on Fridays.

I respectfully disagree.  I think Sesco has improved tremendously from last year and that this was an isolated incident.  He's come a long way from being DQed for multiple cautions most weeks.  He's calmed down, holds his line and is there every week.  Does he have room to improve?  Absolutely, but I think you forget how much of a squirrel he was last year.

I think tonight was an isolated incident.  I think hitting the cone pissed him off, he and Shuster exhanged right rears and he let his anger get the best of him.  Definitely deserves a week in the stands, but I think he'll learn from it and come back stronger for it.

How about Brian Stivenson tonight.  I thought for a minute early in the race that maybe he tagged in Chris Schneider for the night and then Mark Sanders got his first win.  No disrespect to Corey and Jimmy, but it's nice to see someone else win once in a while.

Every week I read about how Sesco is a roving roadblock and hits everything but the pace car, and now he gets upset with somebody about their driving. Irony is a beautiful thing.

Holy crap, this is not a first year driver?

I went to the track a few weeks ago for the first time in a couple of years. This car looked like a golf ball rolling around in a salad bowl, spinning himself out several times in turns 2 and 4 that I noticed. Car ran from top to bottom, never could tell where it was going to point itself.

The only consistency was the inconsistency.

I know I'd be scared to be anywhere near that car on the track.

Sure, we've all seen this with new(er) drivers, but c'mon...

A little respect for fellow drivers may go a long way.

Still a lot of room for improvement, still drives like he is the only one on the track...bottom to top and back down.

Right. He doesn't know how to race. Sounds simple, but some people never get it. He needs to realize that he isn't within the top 15 fastest cars on the track, and that those faster than him are going to try to pass him. When they try and pass him, he needs to give them room. I don't care how big and imposing he is, he is never going to get any respect until he gets better car control and accepts his limitations.

Thought I would share this ffrom sescoracing.Francis Sesco is a devoted christian and dedicated husband. He has been married to his loving wife, Tammy, for almost 10 years now and together they have raised three boys and one girl. They live in a charming small town called New Bethlehem located in western Pennyslvannia.

Francis grew up in Gettysburg, PA. He practically lived at the race track during his childhood, accompanying his father who raced sprint cars. Francis began helping his dad with his sprint car as soon as he was physically able to hold the tools in his hands, eventually becoming an important member of his fathers pit crew.

At a young age Francis began helping Joey Allen work on his sprint car. Shortly after joining up with Joey, Francis made the transition from working on Joeys car to working with Bobby Allen (Joeys brother) and his pit crew on Bobbys sprint car. Eventually, Francis left home and hit the road with Bobby Allen and his race team travelling from dirt track to dirt trackfrom race to race, as Bobby competed in a variety of sprint car racing circuits. Francis fondly looks back at this period of time in his life and classifies it as an incredible and tremendous opportunity in which he gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in regards to sprint car racing.

At the age of 18, Francis and his family moved to Florida. Francis once again began to assist his father with his sprint car endeavors. Francis and his father spent many days and nights working on his fathers sprint carspreparing them for the races and subsequently, competing on the dirt. Francis treasures all of the great memories he has of this time spent with his father before, during, and after the races. He also realizes that racing is in his blood, as it was with his father. Franciss father passed away alittle over a year agohe is truly missed.

A few years ago Francis began to feel that simply being involved with sprint cars wasnt enough anymore. Francis can fabricate, build, diagnose problems, tweak and make necessary adjustments, etcyou name ithe can handle just about everything to do with a sprint car; but, he had never been the one behind the wheel and raced one. Well, that all changed not too long ago when Francis began racing his very own sprint car.

Francis now concentrates on improving and honing his driving skills and abilities with each and every race. He attributes most of his driving improvements to his willingness to accept constructive criticism. Francis isnt afraid to ask seasoned drivers for their advice and their opinions, and the best part is he actually listens to their replies.

Francis and Tammy are looking forward to the upcoming 2012 race season. They sincerely hope to see you there!

Thought it was an interesting read after the comments regarding him ovver the past year and a half. If you read more on his website there are a few more interesting nuggets.

I could care less what kind of person he is. Do I respect him for all of that? Certainly. But when you go top to bottom bottom to top Nonstop, and act like you are in a drifting competition every lap, maybe it's time to slow down and get some car control first. I'm just waiting for one of the leaders to crush him. It's bound to happen sooner or later the way he drives.

A downgrade to 305's would be an incredibly admiral decision for him. He cant control a 410. Hone your skills in a weaker car first. He will hurt someone in a 410. Much like when he flipped Sodeman last year.

From what I heard about Mercer last week, he spun Jones on lap 1, flipped Rod George on Lap 2, and Flipped himself around lap 5. Out of control. A track he races at should never allow him to start up front. Simply for the safety of the rest of the drivers

Just throwing this out there, both Shusters with their Don Otts and Sesco with his several years of experience, got beat by a rookie with a 305 under the hood. I also heard that after the race one of the guys with an Ott was bitching about the 305 being out there even though the 305 dusted him. A little car control goes a long way boys.

Think a 305 out there is about the last thing that group needs to complaining about....he beat 1/3 of the field.

The pits are open to everybody at the end of the night.

Sesco has a ways to go to improve his driving, but he has made an effort to run better and he has improved. He is no where near as wild as last year. People like Wellerfan can sit behind the keyboard and insult the guy all day long, but when it comes to action all you are is talk.
