The NDRL has canceled the event in Batesville due to many other conflicting events...

Kennedy is making the same mistakes with this series as Jeff Gessey did with the old MACS series; scheduling too many races out of this region.

Have to figure this will mean more drivers at Lernerville, like Ziegler. Bloomquist already said he's coming too before this news went public.

It's going to be hard to drive the WoO out of business this way.

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.

I did not know there were two distinct series. My bad.

It is sounding grim for NDRL.   Cancelling races, moving dates over top of ones already scheduled.    Is Kennedy's pie in the sky empire starting to fail?  It's no secret he is leasing most of these tracks and the financial responsiblity falls back on him.    They haven't updated the ads on this board since April.    Is someone not doing their job or are they not able to pay someone to do that job?

I will say the ones running the North East series are a complete joke. I've emailed and called them many times with valid important questions and no response or callback. I actually had to message John Kennedy himself on Facebook with the questions and complaints.

While at Lernerville tonight, a buddy was following the NDRL action from Bedford. He showed me a message that said that the cars all qualified on time, but the officials lined up the heats with a pill draw. If it's true, and I have no reason to believe it isn't, that's the damndest thing I ever heard.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit. They are so unorganized at their shows.

They only had 21 cars at Bedford so it really doesn't matter how they lined them up This organization is a joke between the antics that the national series has pulled, the poor one lane racing at McKean and no cars with the regional series

I don't understand why people get on here and throw assumptions before knowing all the facts. First the NDRL national series made a decision based on putting on a major paying event knowing that the car would be less than what was originally expected.  Two Hell Tour 10K to win races the same weekend, MLRA has two, I believe are 10K to win races, which several cars from the Arkansas area follow, a points race for a regional series (SUPR or SASS) in the southern region, and obviously the Firecracker. With all the said they all made the decision to reschedule.

The NDRL NE series had a rough night at Bedford. Weather, track conditions and transponder problems. The transponders worked prior to time trials and once time trials started the system didn't work. The track jumped in and tried to use multiple stop watches as they had 4 cars qualifying, unfortunately it wasn't accurate. With intermittent rain and heat races on deck they had to make quick decisions to go with the original pill draw to line up the heats, and throw out times. Right or wrong decision and weather a factor they had to go with it. After the heats were completed and called a drivers meeting to explain what had happened and tried to make it as fair as possible. Unfortunately with the rain during the week, the track did not hold up well.

Tonight at Port Royal 35 cars in the pits and a solid field. Ran 30 laps one caution on an excellent track, and a great track crew keeping the show moving and all were very organized. There are some growing pains taking over a series that primarily ran in northern PA and southern NY and expanding the region.

I was at both races, just in case you think this is all "hear say".
