The article I read siad that they'd like to have a special in the fall, but the place is pretty far gone and they don't know if theyr'e going to have enough time to whip it back into shape to get it going this year.

The track has been sold, however, I have been unable to contact the new owner to learn his plans.  I know there is a lot of damage from vandals and the past owner's failure to winterize the rest rooms and such. So I think the best anyone can hope for this year is maybe one race come about September.

Its true, not a scam like last time thankfully!, looking forward to seeing racing return to Tri-City

Not sure how many saw this, but for those who haven't yet, here you are. Looks like a 50/50 shot a a fall race, maybe less. But at least the situation looks as if it's on solid ground this time around. Even if they can't make a race happen in the fall, at least there's a good amount of time to plan and prepare a 2015 with firm dates and have all their ducks in a row.

thanks for the replies guys/gals, only thing that ill add here is that there will not be any sprints when they re-open in the fall, but ill be happy when they do re-open so we can enjoy some local races, i miss it.
